About the therapist
Ling received her psychotherapy education and clinical training in New York. She is a bilingual (English and Mandarin) counseling psychologist registered in Taiwan. For nearly 10 years, she has worked with individuals and couples/families from a diverse range of backgrounds, including cross-cultural couples and individuals/ couples who identify as affective orientation/gender identity minorities. She is open-minded, respects individuals' values, and seeks to collaboratively develop workable solutions with her clients' problems.
Ling's therapeutic approach is integrated with Existential Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Reality Therapy, Person-centered Psychotherapy, and Eriksonian Hypnosis/Strategic Therapy. She believes in the richness of the unconscious. One of the main goals of her work is to help clients to understand their unconscious messages, to discover and connect inner resources, and ultimately reach a fulfilling life.
